The Louisiana Gaming Control Board reported revenue of $206.7 million from the state’s casinos in October, a year-over-year increase of 14.5% from the $180.6 million generated during the same period in 2024.
Every Louisiana gaming district increased revenue during October, including perennial leader Lake Charles, which topped all regions in the state with revenue of $73.2 million. That’s a 14.3% increase over the $64 million reported in October 2024. L’Auberge Du Lac generated $26.7 million compared to $22.6 million, an 18.6% increase. Golden Nugget Lake Charles collected $25.8 million, down 8.3% compared to $23.9 million. Delta Downs posted revenue of $12.9 compared to $12.1 million, a 6.8% increase.
Shreveport/Bossier City properties reported revenue of $51 million compared to October 2024’s $40.5 million, up 26.1%. Margaritaville Resort Casino posted revenue of $13.6 million, down 8.1% from $14.8 million. Horseshoe Bossier City, which completed a multi-million upgrade over the summer, reported revenue of $11.8 million, up 58.1% compared to October 2024’s $7.5 million. Live Casino Shreveport, not open in 2024, posted $10.5 million.
New Orleans district properties reported revenue of $52.3 million, from October 2024’s $49.1 million, up 6.4% year-over-year. Caesars New Orleans brought in $24.3 million, an increase of 9.5% year-over-year from $22.2 million. Treasure Chest generated $13 million, up 13.5% from $11.4 million, and Boomtown Casino & Hotel reported revenue of $9.3 million, down 3.3% compared to $9.9 million.
The Baton Rouge district’s $23.8 million was an increase of 12.5% compared to October 2024’s $21.1 million. L’Auberge Casino Hotel posted $14.9 million, an increase of 9.8% from $13.6 million. The Queen of Baton Rouge generated $8.2 million, up 13.8% from $7.2 million, and the Belle of Baton Rouge, which moved to land, reported $0.7 million, up 101.7%.
Evangeline Downs generated $6.5 million, up 11.2% year-over-year, from $5.9 million.
