Louisiana: February gaming revenue increases by 3% year-over-year to $221.8 million

The Louisiana Gaming Control Board reported revenue of $211.8 million from the state’s casinos in February, up 3% year-over-year.

February sports betting yielded revenue of $37 million, a 30% year-over-year decrease, on a handle of $305 million, down 20%.

Lake Charles led all Louisiana districts with revenue of $71.3 million, up 2.2%. Golden Nugget Lake Charles had revenue of $25 million, up 1.%. L’Auberge Du Lac generated $24.7 million, the same amount posted in February 2025. Delta Downs brought in revenue of $14.2 million, up 8.8%.

Shreveport/Bossier City operators reported revenue of $52 million, up 7.4 %. Margaritaville Resort Casino posted revenue of $13.4. million, down 9.2%. Horseshoe Shreveport reported revenue of $10.7 million, up 25%. Live! Casino posted $10.5 million after not being open the previous year.

New Orleans district properties reported revenue of $55.7 million, down 5.7%. Caesars New Orleans brought in $25.2 million, down 17.7%. Treasure Chest generated $14.6 million, down 16.6%, and Boomtown Casino & Hotel reported revenue of $8.5 million, down 14.8% .

The Baton Rouge district’s $26.5 million was up 17.3%. L’Auberge Baton Rouge posted $13.9 million, up 0.8%. The Queen of Baton Rouge generated $7.9 million, down 4.7%. The Belle of Baton Rouge, which moved to land, reported $4.7 million, up 829.1%.

Evangeline Downs generated $6.3 million, up 7.2%.
