The combined gaming revenue for Louisiana’s casinos was $210.9 million in March, up 11.9% from $188.5 million in March 2024.
Caesars New Orleans led all casinos in the state with $30 million in March, up 35.1% from last year’s $22.2 million.
The Louisiana State Police reported that eight of the state’s 15 riverboat casinos had monthly revenue above $10 million: Horseshoe Bossier City ($11.5 million), Live! Casino ($12.3 million), Margaritaville ($15.8 million), L’Auberge Lake Charles ($28.4 million), Golden Nugget Lake Charles ($28.6 million), Boomtown North Orleans ($11.3 million), Treasure Chest ($14.7 million) and L’Auberge Baton Rouge ($17 million).
In Baton Rouge, Belle of Baton Rouge, The Queen Baton Rouge and L’Auberge Baton Rouge recorded increases in revenue from March 2024, while Treasure Chest reported a near-doubling of revenue from $7.9 million to $14.7 million, up 46.1 % year-over-year.
Elsewhere, L’Auberge Lake Charles and Golden Nugget Lake Charles combined for more than $57 million, down from a combined $61 million last year. Margaritaville dropped 13% from $18.1 million,. Boomtown Bossier, Bally’s Shreveport, Horseshoe Bossier City and Sam’s Town also experienced declines in March.
