Louisiana casino generated $183.8 million in revenue in November, up 2.9% from the previous year’s $178.5 million.
The figures, published by the Louisiana State Police, showed that Caesars New Orleans generated $31.1 million, the highest of all 16 casinos, a year-over-year rise of 16.3% from $26.7 million. The Live! Casino Louisiana, which opened in February, generated $10.7 million in November.
L’Auberge Baton Rouge reported a decline of 1.8% to $14.1 million. Belle of Baton Rouge had the biggest decrease in November, dropping 48.6% year-over-year to $295,629, a result of Bally’s closing its temporary site on November 14, as the rebranded location prepares to open on December 6.
Margaritaville decreased 27.2% to $12.7 million, Bally’s Shreveport declined 26.6% to $7.1 million, Boomtown Bossier dropped 19.4% to $2.9 million, Boomtown New Orleans dropped 16% to $8.7 million, Sam’s Town decreased 13.7% to $2.7 million, and Golden Nugget Lake Charles fell 10.1% year-over-year to $25.4 million.
L’Auberge Lake Charles generated the second-highest revenue, rising 5% year-over-year to $27.1 million. Other increases came from The Queen Baton Rouge (9.9%), Horseshoe Lake Charles (7.5%), Amelia Belle (5.4%), Treasure Chest (5.1%), and Horseshoe Bossier City (4%).
