Quinault Beach Resort and Casino’s slot floor has been upgraded to Lockdogs key-changeable high-security locks.
The upgrade gives the Washington state casino high security, improved efficiency, and lifetime warranties on their keys, said Lockdogs owner Jeff Connor.
The beachfront tribal casino, which opened in 2000, is owned and operated by the Quinault Indian Nation. It has more than 700 slot machines.
“They converted their slot floor to the Lockdog locks and now they’re converting their cash boxes, which aids in their efficiency of the operation,” Connor said. “They will see faster drop times. It continues our progress in Washington State where we have about 90% of the casinos on both sides of the state.”
Slot-machine cash boxes get opened and emptied on a daily basis, and the better the lock the faster and more efficient the operation is, Connor said.
Rachel Loudon, Lockdogs chief of compliance, said smart operators know that more goes into locks than just the hardware. Their locks supply operators with efficiencies that save on payroll. They also eliminate needless sorting by application, counting dimples, shipping cores, lubing, or paying for replacement keys.
Lockdogs’ latest new products include the LS-10, which is key-changeable more than 650,000 times. There’s also the LS-7 padlock that’s key-changeable 13,650 times. Those were unveiled at the G2E in Las Vegas.
