The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority said it expects 345,000 visitors to converge on the city on New Year’s Eve. That’s down from 349,000 a year ago and 347,000 in 2023. There were 336,000 visitors in 2022 and 309,000 in 2021.

“While record visitation is a possibility, our New Year’s Eve 2025 forecast of 345,000 visitors and occupancy approaching 95% reflects strong demand, while accounting for the softer visitation levels we’ve experienced this year,” the LVCVA said.

Las Vegas had a 96.9% occupancy in 2024, 94.6% in 2023, 96.6% in 2023, and 91.2% in 2021.

The LVCVA is expected to release its November visitation and occupancy numbers on Wednesday, the same day the Gaming Control Board will release gaming revenue totals.
