Kindbridge Behavioral Health Tuesday announced a comprehensive partnership with U.S. Integrity and ProhiBet (a joint venture between U.S. Integrity and Odds On Compliance). The collaboration is being promoted as a step forward for mental-health support for athletes.
ProhiBet seeks to prevent individuals, including athletes, coaches, league officials, and administration, from engaging in prohibited sports wagering. U.S. Integrity offers wagering monitoring services to stakeholders within the sports-wagering ecosystem and Odds On Compliance is a compliance technology and consultation firm in the sports betting and gaming space.
“Aligning with U.S. Integrity is a pivotal move for Kindbridge,” said Kindbridge Founder and CEO Daniel Umfleet in a statement. “Together, we aim to seamlessly integrate integrity and accessibility to mental-health services, setting a new standard in scale and support. Our specialized service is designed to address mental-health issues commonly faced by collegiate and professional athletes, including problems related to gambling.”
Kindbridge combines telehealth technology with specialized care for behavioral addictions, assisting individuals facing challenges related to problem gambling and other prevalent mental-health issues. Kindbridge also strives to deliver comprehensive and accessible mental health services, as well as education for corporate executives, athletes, academia, policy makers, and peers, in clinical counseling.
The partnership between Kindbridge and USI aims to promote ProhiBet’s product by creating a direct avenue for professional and student athletes in need of mental-health services.  At-risk individuals identified by the ProhiBet platform will be given access to Kindbridge’s telehealth platform, which integrates mental-health services, clinical research, and technology to deliver holistic care for behavioral addictions.
“This partnership truly completes the evolution of a comprehensive athlete wrap-around service for teams and leagues,” said U.S. Integrity CEO and Co-founder Matthew Holt. “The amalgamation of betting monitoring services, education, and streamlined access to care for athletes represents a monumental stride toward ensuring the enduring integrity of sports nationwide.”
