Churchill Downs Incorporated announced an agreement today that will bring Aristocrat Gaming’s  historical racing machine (HRM) to its facilities. Aristocrat’s games will be installed across Churchill’s HRM facilities in Kentucky, including Derby City Gaming in Louisville; Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel in Oak Grove; Newport Racing & Gaming in Newport; and Turfway Park Racing & Gaming in Florence when it opens in 2022.

“Aristocrat’s innovation as it relates to content and hardware will allow us to expand our game offerings and attract their customer base,” said Austin Miller, senior vice president of gaming operations for Churchill Downs.

Aristocrat’s brands include Buffalo, Wild Lepre’Coins, and others in the MarsX family of cabinets. The games will operate on Ainsworth’s proprietary HRM system.

“Churchill Downs is leading the industry in creating HRM entertainment venues for this growing segment of the gaming industry,” said Aristocrat’s Senior Vice President of Commercial Strategy and Business Analytics, Jon Hanlin.

Aristocrat joins Ainsworth, Konami Gaming, Scientific Games, and International Game Technology as suppliers for Churchill Downs’s HRM facilities.
