Ainsworth Game Technology Tuesday announced the installation of its historical horse racing system and terminals at Derby City Downtown in Louisville, Kentucky.
The newly opened property, owned and operated by Churchill Downs, features 500 historical horse racing terminals, with 90 percent of those connected to Ainsworth’s HHR system according to the company. The gaming floor features a bank of Ainsworth’s San Bao series slots and other AGT high-denomination titles on the A-STAR Curve cabinet.
“Churchill Downs continues to be a great partner to Ainsworth,” said Ainsworth President of North America Deron Hunsberger in a statement. “Derby City Downtown is an impressive property and a perfect showcase for Ainsworth’s games and HHR System. Our HHR system continues to deliver a high-quality experience to both players and operators, and we look forward to continued success for both Ainsworth and our partners as we continue to expand our presence in Kentucky and other HHR jurisdictions.”
The Ainsworth titles and platforms were specifically engineered for historical horse racing, certified by an independent testing lab, and approved by applicable gaming and racing commissions.
Ainsworth’s HHR System also enables its partners to provide content from gaming manufacturers including Aristocrat, IGT, Konami, and Light & Wonder.
