Kansas’ four commercial casinos recorded $36.6 million in revenue for December, down 1.5% from the previous year.
The figures, published by the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission, show that electronic gaming devices accounted for $32.5 million of the total, up 1%. Table games declined 18% year-over-year, dropping to $4 million.
Kansas Crossing Casino was the only casino to report a year-over-year revenue increase, rising 1.1% to $3.6 million. Electronic gaming devices were up 1.8% to $3.3 million, while table games dropped 6.9% to $280,701.
Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway recorded the highest revenue of the month with $14.7 million, down 2.1%. Both electronic gaming devices and table games decreased at the casino last month, down 0.2% and 17.6% respectively.
Kansas Star Casino was the second-highest generator in December, recording $14.4 million, down 0.8%. Electronic gaming devices increased 3.7% to $12.5 million, and table games declined 23% to $1.9 million.
Boot Hill Casino had the greatest year-over-year revenue decline of the four, down 3.7% to $4 million. Electronic gaming devices decreased 3.9% to $3.5 million, and table games dropped 2.3% to $507,774.
