Casino revenue in Kansas increased 4.9% year over year in April, hitting $36.6 million compared to $34.9 million the year prior.

According to the Kansas Lottery report, only one of the four licensed Kansas casinos reported a drop in revenue year over year. Boot Hill Casino in Dodge City recorded $3.87 million compared to $4.0 million last April, down 2.16%

Kansas Crossing Casino in Pittsburg recorded a 1.4% year-over-year rise to $3.49 million, while Hollywood Casino in Kansas City generated $14.36 million in April, up 3.7%.

The most significant revenue improvement, however, was shown by Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane. It improved on last year’s revenue of $13.69 million by 9% percent to $14.93 million.

The year-to-date figures for Kansas casinos remained positive, with revenues up by 2.3%. April continued the trend in March, where revenues increased by 1% year-on-year.

Three casinos have increased revenues in FY 2025 compared to FY 2024. Boot Hill Casino is the only one lagging behind, with revenues dropping by more than 2.7% in FY 2025 compared to FY 2024.
