Kansas casinos generated $39 million in revenue for March, rising from $38.6 million reported last year, a year-over-year increase of 1%, the Kansas Lottery reported.
Kansas Star Casino reported the highest revenue increase of the month, rising from $15.3 million to $15.6 million, up 2.3%.
Hollywood Casino revenue rose by 1.2%, from $15.2 million to $15.4 million, and Kansas Crossing Casino increased by 0.4%, with from $3.72 million to $3.73 million.
Boot Hill’s revenue dropped from $4.4 million to $4.2 million, down 3.4%.
Kansas casino revenue also grew month-over-month, rising from $32.6 million to $39 million, up a 19.6%.
Each casino also experienced revenue growth, with Boot Hill Casino rising from $3.6 million to $4.2 million, Kansas Star Casino rising from $12.4 million to $15.6 million, Hollywood Casino increasing from $13.2 million to $15.4 million and Kansas Crossing Casino climbing from $3.3 million to $3.7 million.
