Kansas casinos reported a revenue of $36.2 million in July, up 7% from the $33.8 million generated in July 2024.
According to the report from the Kansas lottery, three of the four casinos in the state experienced revenue rises year-over-year. Compared to June, casinos also saw an increase of 5.7%, with revenues rising from $34.2 million to $36.2 million month-over-month.
Kansas Star Casino experienced the highest increase, with revenues rising by 9% from $12.9 million in July 2024 to $14.1 million in 2025.
Hollywood Casino saw a 7.4% increase, rising from $13.7 million to $14.7 million, and Kansas Crossing Casino saw a 6% rise, with revenue increasing from $3.3 million to $3.5 million.
Boot Hill Casino was the only casino to see a revenue loss year-over-year in July, down just 0.02%, with revenues decreasing from $3.814 million to $3.813 million.
Despite the slight revenue decline, Boots Hill Casino announced the start of construction for its new hotel, which is planned to open in late 2026, in collaboration with Best Western Glo Dodge City. The hotel will be near the casino’s gaming and entertainment facilities.
