Kansas casino revenue reached $34.2 million this June, a drop of 5.3% compared to June 2024.
According to figures released by the Kansas Lottery, each of the four casinos posted revenue declines year-over-year. Boot Hill Casino showed the steepest percentage drop, at 13.5%. The Dodge City venue brought in $3.5 million this June, but that was down from $4.1 million last June.
Hollywood Casino, which contributed more than 40% of the sector’s casino revenue in June, experienced the most significant decline in actual revenue, which dropped 4.9% to $13.8 million.
Kansas Star Casino, which has a similar but smaller market share than Hollywood Casino, also posted revenue declines compared to the year prior, with revenue falling 3.5% to $13.5 million. Revenues at the other casino in the state, Kansas Crossing Casino, dropped by 4.8% to $3.4 million.
The broader revenue trend remains positive for the state’s casinos. Year-to-date statistics show that the Kansas casino sector has created $418.7 million in revenue in 2025, higher than the $408 million recorded for the same period in 2024.
