Jeff Braun is bringing his Rust Belt sensibilities and work ethic to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.
The Cleveland, Ohio native, who trained at the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts in Pittsburgh, has been named director of culinary operations at the Atlantic City casino resort. Braun will report to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City Vice President of Food and Beverage Peter Brattander.
“Jeff Braun will have a major positive impact on culinary operations at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City,” said Brattander in a statement. “His years of experience in culinary arts will serve to elevate the culinary offerings at our restaurants and food service operations. We are excited to welcome him to the food and beverage team.”
Braun started his career in the food industry working as a busboy, bartender, and kitchen manager. He has served as executive chef at the Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati, and was the executive chef at the Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, where Braun worked on the redesign and re-opening of 16 food service outlets with 600 employees and $110 million in revenues.
Braun will collaborate with culinary team members at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City to create innovative dining options.
