JCM Global, a leading developer and supplier of transaction technologies to the banking and gaming industries, announced Wednesday that it has received additional patents for its innovative Fuzion technology.

The company has long been aggressively pursuing comprehensive patent protection for its proprietary Fuzion system.  The latest protection, U.S. Patent No. 10,140,817, is the latest in a long line of patents JCM has earned for its groundbreaking and award-winning products.

“We are thrilled to continue to receive additional patents for our Fuzion technology,” JCM Global Sr. Vice President of Sales and Operations David Kubajak said in a statement. “JCM’s spirit of innovation dates back to the company’s beginning in 1955. Ever since, our global teams of developers have been relentless in their pursuit of products and technologies that can help our customers operate their casino floors in more secure, more profitable ways.”

Fuzion was first unveiled to the gaming industry at G2E 2018. The new technology, which seeks to turn “…every machine on your slot floor (into) a server-driven suite of player-focused, revenue-driving features,” earned immediate and widespread accolades from attendees for its abilities to greatly enhance functionality at an electronic gaming machine (EGM).

When paired with JCM’s iVizion bill validator, Gen5 thermal printer, and PNA network device, the Fuzion technology creates several possibilities for new technology benefits on the casino floor, including increases in revenue (by allowing any standard EGM to become a multi-function kiosk able to print and redeem tickets for external systems); enhanced security measures, including real-time monitoring of possible money laundering; improved efficiency, by allowing firmware to be upgraded remotely and assisting in the delivery of automated W2G forms for jackpot processing; and added mobile connectivity, including peripherals that will allow new features like Mobile User Interfaces and mobile Wager Wallets to be utilized.
