Vancouver-based Jackpot Digital, the dealerless electronic poker provider, announced today they’ve received a license from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario to begin operations in the province.

Jackpot is registered as a Gaming Related Supplier and can now supply its electronic table games to Ontario’s casinos and other regulated gaming facilities.

“This approval provides us with the opportunity to offer our electronic gaming systems to operators throughout Ontario, positioning us for further growth in one of the world’s most robust gaming markets,” said Jake Kalpakian, CEO of Jackpot Digital, in a written statement.

The company on Wednesday announced it will also install two of its Jackpot Blitz dealerless poker machines at PENN Entertainment’s Boomtown Casino New Orleans.

On the Canadian front in September, the company announced it had received approval from the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) as a registered supplier of gaming supplies and services to regulated casinos in that province and signed a licensing agreement with the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority to install Jackpot Blitz into SIGA casinos.

Jackpot currently has license applications underway in other jurisdictions across the United States and Canada.

Jackpot Blitz, the flagship product for the company, integrates traditional multiplayer poker games with cutting edge digital technology.
