Iowa casinos generated $139.6 million in revenue in December, down 2.1% from the $142.6 million generated in December 2024.
According to the latest report from the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission, statewide slot revenue declined by 2.1%, falling from $128.7 million to $126.0 million. Table game revenue was down 2.4%, from $13.9 million to $13.6 million.
Prairie Meadows Racetrack & Casino generated the highest revenue in December with $20.7 million.
Harrah’s Council Bluffs saw the most significant drop in revenue in December, down 9.9% from $5.9 million to $5.3 million, with other drops from Catfish Bend, which fell 9.8%, and 8% dips from Diamond Jo Dubuque and Horseshoe Council Bluffs.
Gains were reported by Lakeside Casino, up 9.2% from $3.9 million to $4.3 million, Isle of Capri Bettendorf, up 7.6% from $5.5 million to $5.9 million, and Wild Rose Clinton, up 5.4% from $2.6 million to $2.7 million.
Wild Rose Emmetsburg and Casino Queen Marquette each saw revenue decline 0.5%.
