Indiana casinos reported adjusted gross revenue of $220.6 million in March, up 3.3% from the $213.5 million reported in March 2024.
The Indiana Gaming Commission also revealed that table games amounted to $36.1 million of AGR, down from $38.6 million, a decline of 6.6% year-over-year. Electronic gaming devices contributed $191.4 million to AGR, up from $184.7 million reported the previous year, a 3.6% increase.
Ten of Indiana’s 13 casinos revenue above $10 million, and five reported revenue above $20 million, including Caesars Southern Indiana ($22 million), Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana ($37.1 million), Harrah’s Hoosier Park ($24.5 million), Horseshoe Hammond ($23.9 million) and Horseshoe Indianapolis ($31.2 million).
Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana and Horseshoe Indianapolis experienced year-over-year declines in March. Hard Rock fell from $40.5 million to $37.1 million, down 8.2%, while Horseshoe Indianapolis dropped from $32.4 million to $31.2 million, down 3.8%.
Indiana sportsbooks reported a wagering handle of $553.5 million for March, a year-over-year increase of 10.5%, rising from $500.7 million. AGR for March declined, dropping from $39.4 million to $35.7 million, down 9.2%.
Basketball was the most popular sport among Indiana bettors in March, with the Indiana Gaming Commission reporting a handle of $270 million, up from the previous year which saw a handle of $167.9 million.
