Indian Gaming Association announces seminar at ICE

The Indian Gaming Association recently announced it will host a Tribal Partnerships Seminar agenda at ICE Barcelona. The seminar is scheduled for January 21, 2025, from 1:30 -4:30 PM, at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via, Barcelona, Spain.

The Tribal Partnerships seminar will highlight the contributions of Native American tribes to the global gaming industry and explore new opportunities for collaboration and growth in the evolving gaming landscape. Panels, a case study, and industry leaders will be featured.

The Tribal Partnerships Seminar agenda:

  • Tribal Partnerships in U.S. Interactive Wagering: Unlocking New Potential, will feature an exploration of how tribal entities and global operators can create sustainable partnerships in the interactive wagering space.
    Speakers: IGA Conference Chair Victor Rocha and IGA Chairman Ernest Stevens, Jr
  • Opportunities and Challenges in U.S. Sports Betting: Is There Still Room to Play? analyzes the current state of the U.S. sports betting market and its potential for growth and innovation. Speakers: National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development Chairman of the Board Derrick Watchman, Chaudhuri Law Principal Jonodev Chaudhuri, and Indian Gaming Association Deputy Executive Director Danielle Her Many Horses,
  • Case Study: From Bingo Halls to Gaming Powerhouse – The San Manuel Legacy, relates the story of of strategic growth, community investment, and cultural preservation that has positioned the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians as a global gaming leader.

  • The State of Gambling in California: Current Trends and Future Prospects explores the opportunities, challenges, and future of the state’s tribal gaming industry amid legal and regulatory departments. Speakers: Indian Gaming Association Executive Director Jason Giles, California Nations Indian Gaming Association Chairman James Siva
