Circa Sports, based in Las Vegas, Monday announced a collaboration with Full House Resorts, which is constructing a brick-and-mortar casino in Waukegan. A Circa Sports sportsbook will be”¯housed in a temporary facility until the construction is completed.

“We have developed incredible relationships with Midwest bettors at our Las Vegas casinos, so to bring our product to the great state of Illinois is a major milestone for us,” said Circa Sports founder and CEO Derek Stevens in a statement.

The collaboration with Full House is Circa’s third agreement with a gaming operator outside of Nevada. Circa also has partnerships in Iowa with Wild Rose Casino in Jefferson and a market share deal with Century Casino in Cripple Creek. Circa’s sports betting app is now available in Colorado, Illinois, and Iowa, in addition to Nevada.

Circa Sports will initially be based in the Temporary by American Place, a temporary casino operated by Full House Resorts. The partnership will feature a dedicated wagering area with betting kiosks, ticket windows, digital boards with real-time odds, and 36 large televisions for bettors to follow games. Illinois residents will be able to register and fund their accounts from anywhere in the state.

“We promised Illinois a premium gaming and entertainment facility and that includes a first-class sportsbook experience,” said Full House Resorts Chief Development Officer Alex Stolyar in a statement. “We witnessed how Derek and his team have revolutionized the sports-betting and viewing experience at Circa and knew that they would be the right partner for American Place.”

“This is our first time introducing a physical book to a new state and American Place has been an excellent partner for the launch of our temporary sportsbook,” Stevens said.

American Place is currently being developed as a premium gaming and entertainment destination in Waukegan’s Fountain Square district. When completed, the permanent casino facility will host approximately 1,600 slot machines, 100 table games, a state-of-the-art sportsbook, a 20-villa hotel, a 1,500-seat live entertainment venue, and a variety of bars and restaurants.
