Total adjusted gross receipts for Illinois commercial casinos reached more than $170.9 million in March, rising from $152.2 million reported in March 2024, a year-over-year increase of 12.2%.
The Illinois Gaming Board reported that table games made up $38.8 million of AGR, up from $36.5 million, a year-over-year increase of 6.2%. Electronic gaming devices amounted to more than $132 million in AGR, rising from $115.7 million, a year-over-year increase of 14.1%.
Seven of the 16 casinos in Illinois reported revenue above $10 million: Bally’s Chicago ($11.1 million), Full House Resorts ($10.8 million), Grand Victoria Casino ($12.4 million), Hard Rock Casino Rockford (13.1 million), Harrah’s Joliet Casino ($11.2 million), Rivers Casino ($43.6 million) and Wind Creek ($16.8 million).
Rivers Casino reported the highest AGR of March but declined from $47.7 million, an 8.5% year-over-year decrease. Grand Victoria Casino and Harrah’s Joliet Casino also experienced AGR declines in March. Grand Victoria Casino fell from $13.4 million, down 7.5% and Harrah’s Joliet Casino dropped from $12.2 million, a decrease of 8.1%
Hard Rock Casino Rockford experienced the most significant rise in total AGR, increasing from $6.5 million to $13.1 million, a 99.2% year-over-year rise.
