Illinois casinos generated $159.1 million in adjusted gross receipts in June, up 15.1% year-over-year fueled by the opening of new casinos, but down 9.8% compared to May.

The Illinois Gaming Board report showed Rivers Casino in Des Plaines, near Chicago’s O’Hare Airport, generated the highest revenue, bringing in $40.3 million for the month, down 8.2% compared to the $43.9 million generated in June 2024.

Wind Creek in Chicago’s south suburbs, which opened in November, generated the next highest revenues, $16.8 million.

Of the 15 other casinos that reported revenue in June 2025, only three generated more than $10 million in revenue – Grand Victoria Casino, Bally’s Chicago and Hard Rock Casino Rockford.

The June numbers also benefited from the April launch of Fairmount Park, which added $1.2 million to the statewide total.
