Illinois casino revenue rises 18.6% year-over-year to $167.6 million in February, fueled by the opening of the temporary Fairmount Park in April.
Illinois casinos generated $167.6 million in revenue for February, up 18.6% year-over-year.
The figures, published by the Illinois Gaming Board, show that slots accounted for $127.6 million, up 17.8%; while table games generated $40 million, up 21.5%.
Rivers Casino Des Plaines recorded the highest revenue of the month with $41.9 million, up 11.4%. Other double-digit revenues came from Wind Creek Chicago Southland, up 40.1% to $18.9 million; Hard Rock Casino Rockford, up 21.3% to $13.6 million; Grand Victoria, up 17% to $11.7 million; Hollywood Casino Joliet, up 62.9% to $11.1 million; Bally’s Chicago, up 16.4% to $10.2 million; and Full House Resorts, up 11.6% to $10.2 million.
Hollywood Casino Joliet had the biggest increase at 62.9%. Other double-digit increases came from Bally’s Quad Cities (21.7%), Golden Nugget Danville (19.7), Par-A-Dice Casino (15.6%), Walkers Bluff (14.1%), and Argosy Casino Alton (12.9%).
