ICE Barcelona ’26 confirmed on Tuesday that it is completing the at-show agenda of activities dedicated to the Spanish gaming industry.
The program, which will include content streams covering illegal gambling, regulatory change, Iberoamericana cooperation, and extensive networking opportunities, has been curated in collaboration with a range of partners including ANESAR, Policia Nacional, Jdigital, Acordjoc, CEJUEGO, Club de Convergentes, COFAR, Cumbre Iberoamericana del Juego and regional associations.
ICE is scheduled for January 16-19 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via in Spain.
“We were thrilled to be able to connect with the key associations organizing the event, in particular with Isabel Fernandez and Luis Gonzales, respectively the president and technical secretary of SAJUCAL,” Clarion Gaming Director of Industry Insight and Engagement Ewa Bakun said in a statement.
“I would like to congratulate the association on the success of the event that brought together so many industry professionals and to say how grateful we are for the hospitality extended to us.”
Bakun spoke after participating in the 18th Congress of Castilla y Leon. She noted that ICE is a “laudable example of cooperation” between the local government that regulates land-based gambling in the autonomous region of Castilla y Leon and a private sector that operates 115 gambling halls, more than 16,000 machines in bars, three casinos and 17 bingo halls, contributing 60 million euros in tax revenue to the local economy and generating about 2,000 jobs.
”ICE has been built on a steadfast commitment to work with its community of stakeholders to deliver the features and an at show experience that meets their specific needs and requirements,” Bakun said. “Participating in events such as the Congress of Castilla y Leon and engaging directly with those closest to the sector, allows us to gain vital insights to the issues shaping the Spanish market — from regulation and social responsibility to innovation and sustainability. These connections ensure that ICE Barcelona continues to grow in alignment with industry priorities and in the process to build a progressive future.”
The dedicated Spanish program will occur at La Plaza, the feature area in Hall 3 in the Fira Barcelona Gran Via.
