Just in time for the start of the new Blue Jays season in Tampa Thursday against the Rays, complete with a 450-foot monster Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. homerun, Homestand Sports and eThereLIVE formally rolled out their new partnership.

Homestand is a sports and pop-culture broadcaster and content studio launched in 2021, with a stable that includes “The Parleh” sports-betting show presented by BET99, “The Homestand Show,” where hosts talk about the hottest topics in sports, “Hoop Talks,” focusing on the NBA, and “Room 4-4-2,” focusing on soccer.

The company is also known for producing live events for clients around major sports happenings, like the Blue Jays season-opener watch party held at St. Louis Bar & Grill in downtown Toronto, hosted by Gate 14. Sports Interaction is the exclusive betting partner of St. Louis Bar & Grill.

Homestand Sports also hosts their own live sports-talk events.

The announced deal with eThereLIVE allows Homestand Sports to build on the quality of the live events, studio shows, and social-media programming, with end-to-end production services for sports properties and brands.

“This partnership marks a significant milestone in the evolution of our sports-broadcasting offering,” said Nathan Kordyjaka, president of eThereLIVE. “By combining our live-event production capabilities with Homestand Sports’s studio programming services and distribution partnerships, we aim to set a new standard for coverage of up-and-coming Canadian sports properties and brands.”

Existing clients of Homestand Sports can now tap into expanded live-production services with the additional resources of eThereLIVE, including a more robust selection of streaming and video equipment, along with more broadcast technicians. eThereLIVE is the Streaming division of Hamilton-based Soundbox Productions, a live audio-visual support company.

“We have a habit of disrupting the status quo in sports-media programming,” said Kevin Kennedy, Homestand Sports founder. “Combining our storytelling expertise with the experience of eThereLIVE positions us to collectively deliver a high production value broadcast solution for rights holders and brands at a budget more reflective of audience expectations.”

Sports Interaction’s in-game live broadcast on Thursday was available on their app, YouTube, and X platforms.
