Greentube USA Thursday announced the launch of a new ilottery game, Drop the Balls, a cross between pinball, pachinko, and bagatelle. The D.C. Lottery in the District of Columbia will be the first jurisdiction to offer the Drop the Balls to players.

Greentube USA is a subsidiary of Greentube, Novomatic’s digital-gaming and entertainment division.

“The magic at the heart of this game is a physics simulation that makes all the action in the game look and feel realistic”, said Greentube USA CEO Ben Sutherland in a statement. “Drop the Balls is a game that lottery players of all ages will enjoy, and we are excited to be launching it with the Washington, D.C., Lottery.”

The game features balls dropping on a playfield with obstacles and multiplier catchers adding value. Targets and bonus features add value to Drop the Balls and bonuses award extra balls for chances at higher prizes.

Greentube USA worked with partner EQL’s RGS aggregation platform to create the game. The company anticipates the release of more games later this year in the U.S., Latin America, and Europe.
