To say Galaxy Gaming Digital’s global footprint has grown exponentially is an understatement. Four years ago, the annual wagering on Galaxy iGames was approximately one billion wagers. This year, over four and one-half billion in wagers have been placed on Galaxy Games.

Jason McCulloch, who came on board as Galaxy’s Vice President of iGaming in 2021, has driven this high level of success by spearheading the research, collaborating with the leaders of the iGaming industry, and developing games with third-party providers.

“We are up to about 35 partnerships, including B2C with Flutter, Entain, and Draft Kings, among others, and B2B, including Evolution, Pragmatic, and Playtech,” said McCulloch, a seasoned product and performance gaming analyst.

Renowned Galaxy Gaming titles such as 21 + 3, Lucky Ladies, Perfect Pairs, Heads Up Hold ‘em, Buster Blackjack, and EZ Baccarat are featured in over 3,000 premier iGaming websites worldwide with over 750,000 players every month.

“When I first joined the company, the perception of Galaxy Gaming was that we only offered blackjack side bets,” McCulloch recalled. “That has all changed with the launch of other table game types, EZ Baccarat, Roulette Up, and Bonus Craps, since I joined. This underscores our desire to diversify our offerings in the marketplace for all variations of table games.”

He added that there are many partners currently in development with other Galaxy content, such as Poker, Pai Gow, Roulette, Craps, and Blackjack variants that are scheduled for release in 2026.

Galaxy Gaming Digital is the world’s leading licensor of proprietary table games for Live Dealer and RNG iGaming platforms to the online gaming industry. Through Galaxy’s partnerships, Galaxy’s innovative IP is available to players across every continent, seamlessly integrated and ready at market launch.

“The reason iGaming has been such a great success story for Galaxy Digital is because of the belief in our strong brands and the value they bring to our partners’ existing content,” McCulloch said. “We have a vast library of approximately 100 games, with several standout titles that are especially popular among our partners, but this continues to diversify.”

McCulloch stated that with around 45 live dealer studios worldwide, Galaxy Gaming Digital currently partners with about eight. When he came on board, there were only a dozen Live Dealer companies, so this space has seen rapid growth globally in the past few years.

“We also have many operators such as Flutter, Bet 365, and Draft Kings which are developing their own games, creating more opportunities to create partnerships or expand the current partnership,” he noted. “There is still a lot of room for growth in that sense.”

Brand recognition, according to McCulloch, has also played a significant role. He asserts that the all-important brand recognition connection has contributed immensely to the company’s popularity.

“It is important for these studios and operators to know the brand owner, which was one of the bigger issues when I began,” he said. “This has helped us engage with potential customers because they know who to contact. The amplified awareness has also made it possible for us to participate in a greater number of overseas trade shows, giving us a chance to display what is new and how we can promote the brands even more.”

He explained that Galaxy Gaming Digital is expanding their content, including progressives, which are typically mostly North American land-based, into the online market. The focus is also on different table games experiences, including craps and roulette games, which Bet365 recently launched in North America.

“Our craps and roulette games were just launched in Ontario, Canada, but we will go into all U.S. markets eventually with Bet 365,” McCulloch stated. “This expansion is allowing customers to realize that our selection of table games includes options dependent upon what region of the world is being addressed.”

The iGaming model is completely different from land-based, he explained, because the online space is unlimited in respect to the number of games as opposed to land based where table games have limited positions. This is one reason different variations of the traditional games are always in demand.

“They are always looking for different things to try,” he said. “Players are naturally attracted to traditional blackjack games, but with online the scale is so much greater. For example, one dealer can supply content to thousands of different websites.”

McCulloch reported that for the first time, Galaxy Gaming Digital is building its own games internally specifically for the iGaming market.

“We will be launching two games in the new year as we continue to invest in our brands. We have a new Director of North America, Erica Goldstein, who has been brought in to oversee these projects, and she has been doing a great job,” he announced.

“One of them is Burst Blackjack and the other one Golden 4 Blackjack. The Golden 4 game allows the player to play multiple side bets with one wager rather than the traditional independent wagers. In Burst Blackjack, the player can play a side bet that has a variety of multipliers of 2 – 10x on each hand. Both of these games will also have a linked progressive based on the success of Galaxy’s land-based Dynamic Progressive.

“More exciting news for us is that Ezugi, a subsidiary of Evolution Gaming, just launched EZ Baccarat in New Jersey with a live dealer, a North American first for the product. We think it will do very well. EZ Baccarat will also be available in Michigan later this year.”
