Florida’s non-tribal casinos make $64 million in slot revenue in March, down 4.1% year-over-year

Florida’s non-tribal casinos earned $64 million in slot revenue in March, down 4.1% year-over-year.

According to a report published by the Florida Gaming Control Commission, Magic City Casino saw the highest revenue during the period- $13.1 million, up 0.7%. Harrah’s Pompano Beach followed with revenues of $12.4 million, down 6%.

Casino at Dania Beach posted revenue of $5.5 million, up 11%.

All other Florida casinos experienced a year-over-year decline in March, with the largest revenue drop recorded at Gulfstream Park Racing & Casino, which fell 8.8% to $5.7 million. Casino Calder dropped by 8.6% to $8.1 million, and Big Easy Casino fell by 8.4% to $3.2 million. Casino Miami was down 6.6% in March, earning $7.5 million, and Hialeah Park dropped 5% to $5.5 million.
