Casino game provider Evolution Gaming is acquiring Arcadia Gaming Solutions, the games developer that turned classic arcade games into live online casino games.
Arcadia’s businesst-to-business video-streaming technology is available worldwide. According to a press release from Evolution, it allows players to access physical arcade machines using their desktop or mobile devices, providing “a unique and engaging online experience. ”
The press release has revealed that Evolution will pay a €2.5 million up-front cash consideration, followed by an earn-out in 2027 based on Arcadia Games’ performance. The deal is subject to closing conditions and is expected to be complete by the end of the year.
In July, Evolution agreed to acquire Las Vegas-based Galaxy Gaming for $85 million. The same month, Evolution also brought its live dealer games to Delaware in partnership with Rush Street Interactive. Players in Delaware can access such games on BetRivers Casino, where Evolution launched its slots in March.
“As we look into 2024 and beyond, we do so with excitement, hunger and ambition. We will continue to invest, recruit and expand our operations in the whole world,” Evolution CEO Martin Carlesund said in a press release this year.
