Delaware casino revenue drops 24.3% year-over-year in December

Delaware’s three casinos generated $32.7 million in revenue for December, down 24.3% from the previous year. It followed a November that saw revenue up 30.4% year-over-year and an October where revenue was down just 1% year-over-year.

The figures, published by the Delaware Lottery, show that of the three casinos, Delaware Park recorded the highest revenue of the month, reporting $14.2 million, down 21.7%. At the casino, video lottery terminals yielded $12.4 million in revenue, down 20.9%. Table game revenue dropped 26.4%.

Bally’s Dover saw revenue drop 27.8% to $10.9 million. Video lottery terminal and table game revenue dropped 25.8% and 43% respectively.

Harrington Casino reported $7.6 million in revenue, 23.8%. Video lottery terminals dropped 24.4% and table games were down 17.1%.

Statewide, video lottery terminals generated $29.1 million, down 23.4%, while table game revenue dropped 30.6% to $3.5 million.
