Dan Hartman, former Director of the Colorado Division of Gaming and currently a consultant and associate partner with GMA Consulting, will join the advisory board of mental health services provider Kindbridge Behavioral Health.

Founded in 2020, Kindbridge is a teletherapy company that specializes in providing therapy and treatment for problem gambling and other serious mental health conditions.

“We are delighted to welcome Dan Hartman to our advisory board,” commented Kindbridge CEO Daniel Umfleet. “His extensive experience in regulatory enforcement and public service, coupled with a track record of fostering industry growth and innovation, make him an invaluable addition to our team. We look forward to leveraging Dan’s expertise to enhance our mission of making high-quality mental healthcare accessible to all.”

Hartman has held various positions throughout his career. While at the Colorado Division of Gaming, he played a vital role in establishing the state’s sports betting program. Prior to this, Hartman was the first Director of the Medical Marijuana Enforcement Division in Colorado. Here, he played a pivotal role in shaping the state’s regulatory approach to a new industry.

“I am honored to join Kindbridge’s advisory board and contribute to its groundbreaking work in mental healthcare,” Hartman said. “Mental wellness is a critical component of overall health, and I am excited to collaborate with Kindbridge to drive meaningful change in how we approach and deliver mental healthcare services.”

Earlier this week, Kindbridge and DraftKings expanded their partnership beyond Colorado, where it was originally formed in September 2023. Now, customers in all 25 states where DraftKings operates have access to mental health assessments and personalized care plans from Kindbridge.
