Cordish Gaming Group Tuesday announced three executive appointments to prepare for the expansion of its Live! Casino brand.
Executive Vice President/PA Casinos Joe Billhimer is the new chief operating officer and development officer. Craig Clark will serve as Live! Casino & Hotel Executive Vice President and General Manager. At Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland, Ryan Eller will be the new executive vice president and general manager.
“As the company prepares to experience exponential growth in the coming years, these appointments position us to maximize results at our existing operations, while pursuing development and management opportunities in other gaming jurisdictions,” said Cordish Gaming Group President Rob Norton in a statement. “Joe, Craig, and Ryan are well suited to maintain the same level of excellence and customer service our guests have come to expect at Live! Casinos and Hotels.”
Billhimer has more than 35 years of experience in the gaming industry and has worked for operators including Eldorado Resorts in Reno, Nevada; MTR Gaming in Wexford, Pennsylvania; Foundation Gaming Group in Gulfport, Mississippi; Caesars Entertainment’s Grand Casino Resort in Gulfport, Mississippi; and Casino Magic Bay in St. Louis, Mississippi. He also led Cordish’s expansion into Pennsylvania, helping to develop Live! Casino properties in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
In his new role, Billhimer will oversee all operations at Cordish Live! Casino properties.
Clark will be in charge of oversight of all day-to-day management and operations at Live! Philadelphia. He has 30 years of experience in gaming, and previously was Rivers Casino Pittsburgh’s general manager. Clark also has served as president of Hard Rock Ottawa; general manager of Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California; and at Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, New York, as senior vice president and general manager.
Eller has 20 years of experience in gaming, and most recently was president of GH Holdings in Austin, Texas. His experience includes serving as president, CEO, and director at Empire Resorts in New York, and leadership roles with Genting Americas/Resort World in New York; Pearl River Resorts in Jackson, Mississippi; PCI Gaming in Mobile, Alabama; and Caesars Entertainment in Memphis, Tennessee.
At Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland, Eller will oversee daily management and operations of the property.
