Just in time for the Super Bowl, Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment, in partnership with FanDuel, will hold a soft open of the permanent 11,000 square-foot Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook this Thursday at Mohegan Sun at 9 a.m.
The new Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook, located in the old Race Book, is home to 222 total seats, a 140-foot-wide by 14-foot-tall video wall, 30+ additional hi-res flat screens, a mezzanine level (with 22 luxury seats), a full bar, multiple live-teller windows, and 39 betting kiosks.
“This new venue completely transforms Mohegan Sun’s old Race Book space into one of the largest and most dynamic FanDuel Sportsbook’s in the United States,” said Jeff Hamilton, President & General Manager of Mohegan Sun.
The sportsbook’s grand opening will be held on Saturday March 5.
Wagering options will be available for professional football, basketball, baseball, tennis, MMA, boxing, soccer, golf, motorsports, and more. Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook will be open daily with extended hours on the weekends.
A full dining menu is also planned for the new Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook on or before the grand opening celebration, just as college basketball conference championships are underway.
