If there’s one thing Yaamava’ Resort and Casino knows how to do, it’s a slot launch! The world premiere of Monopoly Big Board Bucks by Aristocrat Gaming at the Highland, California, resort was absolutely no exception.
As soon as I stepped foot into the casino, I knew it was going to be good! The entire property was transformed with Monopoly-themed decorations to surround guests in the experience. When it was time for the unveiling, a live drumline started playing as Mr. Monopoly stood beside them, waving and posing for guests.
After a few words from Yaamava’s General Manager, Kenji Hall, and Aristocrat Gaming CEO, Craig Toner, the curtain dropped, and the slot was officially ready for action. I, for one, couldn’t wait to play, but that would have to wait for a bit because I was lucky enough to get an invitation to the launch party at Aces Bar. The space was themed with Monopoly decor, photo ops, and food – including a Rice Krispies dessert that looked like dice. It was a nice touch. It really did feel like a genuine celebration.

Monopoly Big Board Bucks is the first title released under Aristocrat Gaming’s multiyear licensing partnership with Hasbro. Toner put it simply, “The journey to this moment has been filled with energy, excitement, and a deep appreciation for the opportunity to innovate with one of the world’s most iconic brands.” He also praised Yaamava’, noting that the property “truly embraced the significance of being the first to launch.”

“From the immersive reveal to our largest promotion ever,” Hall said, “this launch reflects our commitment to creating moments that feel big, celebratory, and uniquely Yaamava’.” He wasn’t wrong!
In conjunction with this launch, Yaamava’ is currently running its “Own It All” promotion through May 29, when one Club Serrano member will take home a prize package worth over $1.6 million, including $500,000 toward a mortgage, $500,000 in travel credit, and a Ferrari 296GTS valued at over $640,000. Yes, please!
As for the game itself, the design pulls directly from the board game with player-selectable tokens, a Free Parking bonus, houses, hotels, and Mr. Monopoly
woven throughout, all layered into a slot experience that feels familiar to those who love the Spooky Link series, also by Aristocrat Gaming.
Once I finally had a chance to play it, it did not disappoint. I walked away with a 100x win in the Big Board Bucks bonus, even unlocking both the Free Parking Hold and Spin and GO Jackpot Wheel.
Since previewing this game at the Global Gaming Expo in 2025, I had been eagerly awaiting its debut. It did not disappoint.
