On any normal weekend, the CDC Gaming website gets 6,500 page views. Last weekend we had over 50,000 page views. Our daily newsletters are also seen dramatically increased open and click-through rates as well.

We take no joy in this as the worldwide casino industry has been hit by one of the most serious disasters in recent years. It does, however, remind the entire CDC Gaming team how important updated and accurate gaming-related COVID-19 news coverage is to our readership.
Yesterday we created a special CDC Gaming’ continuing coronavirus coverage page listing our most recent coronavirus-related posts as well as a map showing casino closings state-by-state.
Readers can access this page anywhere on the site by just clicking the red banner that appears on the top of all website pages.
