Colorado’s three casino regions experienced a slight increase in combined adjusted gross profit for April, yielding $91.4 million, up 0.8% from last April’s $90.6 million.
According to the report published by the Colorado Department of Revenue, statewide slot AGP contributed the most to AGP, rising from $76.6 million to $78.2 million, a 2% year-over-year rise. Table games generated $13.2 million, but were down 5.8% from the previous year’s $14 million.
Black Hawk, home to 15 of Colorado’s casinos, reported the highest AGP of April, yielding $70.4 million, up 1.4% from $69.4 million. Cripple Creek’s 12 casinos recorded AGP of $14.9 million last month, up 2% from $14.6 million. Central City’s six casinos saw AGP dropped 7.9% from $6.5 million to $6 million.
