Colorado’s casinos generated $99.8 million in gaming revenue for May, up 0.6% from last year’s $99.2 million.
The Colorado Department of Revenue report showed that of the three casino regions, Black Hawk generated the highest amount, $77 million, a year-over-year rise of 1.4% from $76 million.
The Cripple Creek region reported $16.6 million, up 2.6% from $16.1 million. Central City was down 12.8% from $7.2 million to $6.3 million.
Slots contributed $85.2 million in revenue, up 0.3%, up from $85 million. Table games yielded $14.6 million, up 2.4% from $14.2 million.
Gaming revenue also rose month-over-month compared to April’s casino figures, increasing 9.1% from $91.4 million to $99.8 million.
