Colorado casinos recorded $92.5 million in revenue for February, up from the previous year’s figure of $84.2 million and representing a year-over-year increase of 9.8%.
The figures, published by the Colorado Department of Revenue, revealed that of the combined total, slots accounted for $77.6 million, up 7.6% year-over-year from $72.1 million. Table games generated $14.9 million, a year-over-year increase of 22.7% from $12.1 million.
Black Hawk casinos reported the highest revenue for the month with $70.4 million, up 9.7% year-over-year from $64.2 million. Slots in the region increased 6.4% to $56.6 million, and table games rose 25.8% to $13.8 million.
Cripple Creek recorded the second-highest revenue in February, up 8.9% year-over-year from $14.5 million to $15.8 million. Slots generated $14.9 million, up 10.6%. Table games dropped 13.9% to $888,489.
Central City had the highest year-over-year revenue increase of the three, rising 13.6% from $5.5 million to $6.3 million. Slots were up 12.7% to $6.1 million, and table games increased 63.1% to $158,969.
