Colorado’s three land-based casinos generated more than $80.8 million in assorted gross profit in January, down 5.1% compared to the previous year’s $85.1 million.
Gaming taxes for the month yielded $14.2 million, down 3.2%.
The Colorado Department of Revenue reports that slot games made up $66.4 million of the total, down 6% year-over-year, and table games produced $14.3 million, down 0.7% from December 2024.
Of the state’s three regions, Black Hawk generated the highest AGP in January, recording $62.4 million, down from $65.8 million last year. Slot games produced $49 million last month, a drop from $52.5 million, and table games produced $13.4 million, a year-over-year rise from $13.3 million.
Cripple Creek generated $12.7 million last month, down from $13.6 million reported the previous year. Slot games generated $11.9 million, declining from $12.6 million year-over-year, and table games produced $773,137, a drop from $975,648 reported last year.
Central City reached just more than $5.64 million in AGP in January, up from $5.62 million last year. Slot games produced $5.5 million, up from $5.4 million year-over-year, and table games generated $146,527, down from $152,432 reported the previous year.
AGP also was down compared to December figures, which saw an AGP of $94.9 million. Tax declined from $15.7 million.
