Clarion Gaming and Gn Media on Friday announced a strategic partnership to deliver a long-term program of support between ICE Barcelona and the Italian Gaming Exhibition.

“ICE isn’t just a trade show — it’s the gaming industry’s most influential platform for innovation, business development, and strategic thinking,” Gn Media Founder Alessio Crisantemi said in a statement. “For Gn Media, the organizers of IGE and IGA, it means joining forces with what is the world’s leading player in the sector, creating a direct bridge between the Italian and international markets.

“The goal is to foster an ongoing dialogue between the two worlds: on the one hand, bringing Italy to the global stage and on the other, bringing the global gaming industry to Italy. It’s a powerful strategic alliance built on our shared values of innovation, networking, sustainability, and responsibility.”

The partnership was launched November 4 at a private reception and networking event at Palazzo Rospigliosi in Rome. The event was attended by senior representatives from institutions, government and industry associations, including the Italian regulator Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli, the Ministry of Home Affairs, AGCOM (the Italian communication regulatory authority), Confcommercio, Confindustria, and EUROMAT.

Clarion Gaming’s Director of Industry Insights and Engagement Ewa Bakun noted that Italy is among the most important European markets.

“We are delighted to announce what is a really important strategic partnership with the team at Gn Media,” Bakun said. “It’s very important to stress that this is a long-term commitment. We will be working throughout the year on content, campaigns and connecting operators using the combined reach and influence of ICE and IGE.

“We are committed to the development of a dynamic, meaningful and evolving collaboration which will deliver concrete actions designed to expand Italian participation at ICE and to attract more international players to Italy.”
