Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort, both in Scottsdale and owned and operated by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, will reopen at 12 noon on Monday June 1. As part of their phased openings, each will open at a limited capacity and with significant health and safety measures in place, including temperature checks, the use of personal protective equipment and social distancing. The properties will also temporarily prohibit smoking.

“We took great care and the necessary time to implement a phased reopening plan with new protocols that will keep guests’ and employees’ health and safety top of mind across all facets of our operations,” said Ramon Martinez, director of public relations for Casino Arizona and Talking Stick.

The first phase of the reopenings will require that guests and employees have their temperature before entry. Any guest or employee who registers 100.4 or will not be allowed entry. Masks will be required while inside the properties. Social distancing has also been implemented throughout each property. A reduced number of restaurants will be open with limited grab-and-go food-and-beverage menus and no seating available. Valet-parking services are also temporarily suspended.

In the casino, plexiglass has been installed between slot machines operating within social-distancing guidelines. Plexiglass has also been installed at table games, which will be at limited capacity, including in the bingo hall and poker room.

Both casinos will continue intensified cleaning policies with an increased focus on high-touch high-traffic areas. Hand sanitizing stations will also continue to be available for guest use.
