The Wyoming Pari-Mutuel Commission, which regulates sports betting in the state, on Thursday approved PointsBet to operate as its fourth licensed online sportsbook operator.
The seven commissioners in attendance for the meeting, which was conducted via an online video conference, voted unanimously to approve the PointsBet license.
PointsBet joins FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM as the licensed online operators in Wyoming, although FanDuel has not launched since its approval in December.
DraftKings and BetMGM began to operate in September, the first month legal online sports betting was permitted in the state, according to David Carpenter, the project manager for online sports betting and skill games at the Wyoming commission.
