Wynn Resorts issued a statement overnight confirming that construction on its US$5.1 billion Wynn Al Marjan Island integrated resort project in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has resumed following a brief pause due to the conflict in Iran.
The company said it continues to be in regular communication with the governments of the United States and Ras Al Khaimah so it can make informed decisions and believes the “broad defense posture” of the UAE has worked extremely well.
“We have confidence in the UAE’s ability to keep its population safe,” it stated.
“We note that for broad segments of the local population, business continues to follow normal patterns.”
