The invasion of Los Angeles-based Randy’s Donuts and its iconic giant doughnut sign continues with the doughnut chain planning two locations opening in 2021. The 60-year-old restaurant found in movies such as Iron Man 2 and Mars Attacks! bought an existing drive-thru restaurant at 2170 S. Rainbow Boulevard, formerly a carnitas shop, and vacant land at the intersection of Blue Diamond and Cameron. Both plan to open in early fall and winter of 2021. The Blue Diamond location already received approval to build as a drive-thru location.
But Randy’s Donuts isn’t stopping there. Mark Kelegian, owner of Randy’s Donuts, wants to open five more locations in Las Vegas in 2021. And he’s working with an unnamed local gaming company to bring additional outlets to casinos in Southern Nevada.
