With more than three months left in 2025, Nebraska’s casinos are already on track to nearly double last year’s earnings.
Lance Morgan, the CEO of WarHorse Gaming, said casinos in Omaha and Lincoln have seen good growth this year, but it could jump again as they expand.
“We’re thrilled with what’s happened so far, but we think we’ve just scratched the surface,” Morgan said. “I think as more people experience it and consider it an entertainment option, it’ll continue to grow.”
In 2024, Nebraska casinos reported $146 million in gaming revenue. As of July, the state’s casinos were just short of that, at $142 million.
