The West Virginia Lottery has announced plans to launch a digital platform for gaming that will be accessible on mobile devices.
Game tickets for iPlay [became] available at 6 a.m. Thursday along with PlayOn, a loyalty program that can be used to check winning numbers, stay up-to-date on promotions and manage accounts, according to a news release from the West Virginia Lottery.
The news release said the loyalty program will allow for the accrual of points for in-person and online gaming.
Lottery officials noted iPlay and PlayOn accounts will by synched and tickets purchased in-person may still tied into the loyalty program.
