The Problem Gambling Help Network of West Virginia (PGHNWV), operator of the 1-800-GAMBLER helpline, has launched a new digital tool aimed at supporting individuals struggling with gambling addiction.

In partnership with CHESS Health, PGHNWV has introduced a customized version of the Connections recovery app specifically designed for gambling-related issues. This marks the first time the app, already used for substance use disorder (SUD) recovery, has been tailored for gambling addiction.

The initiative is led by First Choice Services, PGHNWV’s parent organization, which has worked with CHESS Health for the past five years on digital tools for SUD recovery.
