Fresh off its $10 million investment for new firefighting equipment in Petersburg, the group building the city’s casino has turned its attention to human capital
The group – The Cordish Companies and Bruce Smith Enterprise, along with construction company AnderCorp – will host a trade fair for local vendors and contractors April 9 at the Petersburg Public Library. A statement from the group says the free event “will highlight procurement opportunities and business policies for vendors interested in doing business with the casino.”
The areas to be focused on by the trade fair include facility maintenance, food and beverage services, printing and signage, office and computer supplies, professional services, and contractor/subcontractor work.
