Construction on the new casino in Petersburg continues, but the help-wanted signs are already up… The Live! Petersburg Casino Resort is partnering with Richard Bland College to host the 12-week course…starting Sept. 8.
“We have hundreds who are enrolled right now,” said Brian Dwaileebe, the director for table games.
Open houses are being held through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for people interested in learning more. Folks can also purchase a blackjack kit for $50.
“They get a dealing shoe, two stacks of chips, two decks of cards and layout for home that they can use on a kitchen table or dining room table to practice with family,” Dwaileebe said.
